Head of California New Car Dealers Association will join NADA on Feb. 1, replacing Brady after period of industry turmoil Welch The National Automobile Dealers Association has tapped Peter Welch as president of the $32 million-revenue group, effective Feb. 1. Welch has headed the California New Car Dealers Association since 2003 and has managed that group's government affairs since 1990, NADA said in a statement.
